jmb Photography is about being unique, artistic, creative & timeless!

Photography is not only my career; it’s my passion. I love what I do and that is evident in every image I capture.

This passion started for me in highschool when I decided to take a few photography classes that my school was offering as electives. I very quickly fell in love with photography & during any breaks or downtime I would most likely be found in the darkroom developing my film for class! I excelled immensely in those classes & began begging my teacher for extra assignments & more challenging tasks.

After highschool I received my very own camera. I do recall having it nearly permanently attached to my face for quite some time. I read every book that had anything to do with photography that I could get my hands on. I spent all my free time learn more & improving on my skills.

After a few years I made the switch to digital photography – man was that ever a leap! Ever since that leap I have been doing landscape & nature photography, selling my prints in local shops & online.

One day I got to thinking that I would like to try my hand at working with a human subject – being able to interact with my subject & hold a conversation with them really appealed to me. So I started working local models doing lots of fashion sessions – this was lots of fun & I got to meet a lot of great people in the industry. Then I started to get people asking me about doing wedding & portraits for them and their families! I was really excited about that because that was my next step towards making my passion my career.

So I did a few weddings for a few friends & family members in the first 6 months. I really enjoyed it & they really enjoyed my photographs so I figured I would put my name out there & look for paying clients. It didn’t take long for the clients to start rolling in!

Nearly 2 years later I am now booked solid through the summer seasons! I am very excited to see where the future takes my career & company.

I always tell my clients that the memories that I capture, will be relived for a lifetime to come! Don’t deny your family such a priceless heirloom.
